- Inside frame installation:
No need to make calculations! The manufacturer will ensure the blinds are made for a perfect fit. The fabric will be approximately 1/2″ less wide on each side than the measurement given due to the mechanism. - Outside frame installation:
The cassette will be the same width as the width that was ordered and the fabric will measure approximately 5/8″ less on each side than the width that was ordered. This is why, for example, if the space to be covered is 60″, it is wise to order a 64″ canvas (that is, an extra 2″ on each side) to ensure that the entire frame is covered and to prevent any opening from letting in too much light.
